IPMA’s Pre-Budget Meeting with Ministry of Finance for Union Budget 2016-17
Mr. A S Mehta, Chairman, IPMA Commercial & Taxation Sub-Committee, and IPMA Secretary General represented paper industry at the Pre-Budget Meeting for Union Budget 2016-17. The meeting was convened by the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, on 18th November 2015 at North Block, New Delhi.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ram Tirath, Member, Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC), and attended by senior officials of the Department of Revenue, including Mr. Alok Shukla, Joint Secretary (TRU-1). IPMA made a presentation voicing issues and concerns of the paper industry and submitted wishlist of the industry for the upcoming budget.
As a national industry body, Indian Paper Manufacturers Association (IPMA) represents the resurgent and organized face of paper industry in India.
